Happy Nowhere Has Moved!

Happy Nowhere has recently re-located to Los Angeles, California. The website will be updated by this summer, but in the mean time, check out some of our sketches and award winning films! Also, click on the "Happy Nowhere Productions" box in the upper right hand corner to see all the nifty awards that we won for "Chrysalis." LEARN IMPROV COMEDY FROM HAPPY NOWHERE ALUM CINDY CARTER!
(Or brush up on improv skills you already have!)

Ready to Impress Your friends? Learn to Improvise! Take an improv class at the Stardome Comedy Club, right here in Birmingham, AL. The class runs for seven weeks, every Tuesday night at the Stardome from 7:15 to 9:30pm. It begins Tuesday, April 5th through May 17th. The class ends with a class performance in the Broadway room at the Stardome. Since Cindy Carter... chick who's teaching the class... doesn't want to put her phone number and e-mail address on the web, registration is Saturday, March 19 from 4-6PM at the Stardome. A second registration is Tuesday, March 22nd from 7-8:30pm at the Stardome. Space is limited so register quickly. Cost of the class is 90 bucks, but if you mention Happy Nowhere, there's a 15 percent discount!

That's right 16 hours of instruction... An actual performance.... and skills... all for 90 bucks or less. What a deal! Be the life of the party, and take the class!

(Note: Please do NOT email the Happy Nowhere contact address for further details about this class. What's written above is the only info I have about it. Cindy will be happy to address any questions, concerns, etc. at the registration. Have fun!!)

We haven't been on here in awhile, so let me give you an update of what's been going on...

-Our short film "Testosterino!" won Best Story and Best Free Flowing Creative Juices at the November 2004 Sidewalk Scramble. Check out the photos in our film section. That's the "Happy Nowhere Productions" thing in the upper right hand corner of the website.

-Two of our other award winning shorts are featured on al.com. You can find them by going to our film section. That's the "Happy Nowhere Productions" thing in the upper right hand corner of the website, for the last time. Check out some of the other Scramble films on al.com. They are all delicious.

-We're currently working on a television pilot, a couple of shorts, and (gasp!) a feature. They will all be crap. Don't watch them.

-George has become a Scientologist, left the church, and then became a terrorist. Now he's a woman. He is also crap. Do not watch him.

-We went to Las Vegas hoping to make some money. After two hours in the slot machine room and losing $2,000, it was clear that our plan had failed. Never gamble.

-I am crap. I am to be watched, however.

-Our new film "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" has opened to rave reviews. We are very proud of this, aside from the fact that we had nothing to do with it.

-My cats have learned to talk. They are crap. Do not listen to them.

Hope everyone's having a great New Year!
